Welcoming new members
Persons at least 21 years of age are eligible for Regular Membership with full privileges. Persons 21 to 34 are eligible for Junior Membership, which carries no voting rights and converts to Regular Membership at age 35.
Annual dues for existing members are due April 1. For new members, dues are prorated by day over the months of July and August.
Membership categories
Family & Dual
For married couples, domestic partners, and households with children under 25.
Single & Junior
Individual memberships, with reduced Junior rates for ages 21-34 that convert to Regular at 35.
Social
For members in good standing who are no longer able to play (Board approval required).

Policies & Procedures
The following policies are adopted by the MVCC Board of Directors to maintain institutional memory in our seasonal club. Exceptions must be approved by the Board.
- Birthdays: Everyone’s “membership birthday” is January 1 of their birth year, so age-dependent decisions (like Junior status) are consistent and never fall mid-season.
- Domestic Partners: MVCC supports Dual and Family memberships for domestic partners (same or opposite gender), favoring a policy of trust for partners in an established, committed relationship living together.
- Social Memberships: Reserved for members in good standing who are no longer able to play; transition requires Board approval.
About our dues structure. Membership is based on the value of belonging to a community and preserving a historic facility, rather than a “pay-per-play” model. These dues and modest initiation fees prevent revenue volatility and keep the “gem of the Northeast Kingdom” affordable and accessible for generations to come.
